They're "ship shops", very few and very small, and very expensive. Although they sometimes have "sales" that can be good deals, especially toward the end of the cruise. Not a good place to get toiletry items, for example, though - do that in port.

I suggest you don't buy anything in the shops wait until you get to your port of call. shops may be tax free but items are expensive like $15 for a digital watch on the ship VS like $10 for one in Wal Mart expensive
